Realidad Realidad Realidad [Photobook]

Realidad, realidad, realidad, realidad, realidad is a two part book.  
The first one is Jennifer Leiva's "Corazón Indomable"autobiography: the story of a Purepecha woman forced to survive in a society that not only marginalizes her for her addictions, but also attempts to erase her trans identity. 

The second book, the one you're reading about, collects photographs taken during the same period. They are images that document the festive calendar of Cherán - a mixture of religious celebrations and Purepecha rituals - and the traditional world where Jenny lived and grew up.

Realidad, realidad, realidad, realidad es un libro en dos partes.  
La primera es la autobiografía de Jennifer Leiva Corazón Indomable: la historia de una mujer purépecha obligada a sobrevivir en una sociedad que no solo la margina por sus adicciones, sino que intenta borrar su identidad trans.

El segundo libro, sobre el que están leyendo ésta ficha, recoge fotografías tomadas durante ese mismo periodo. Son imágenes que documentan el calendario festivo de Cherán —una mezcla de celebraciones religiosas y rituales purépechas— y el mundo tradicional donde Jenny vivió y creció.
